Abstract
A simple model of restructuring for loopless clusters is presented in which single-bonded particles may escape from the cluster and diffuse in space until they reach the cluster again. In its steady-state regime, this model defines a new statistics of clusters at equilibrium with a fractal dimension in two dimensions estimated by direct simulations. Comparisons are made with out-of-equilibrium diffusion-limited aggregation and with at-equilibrium statistics of animals.
