Phenformin, Hypoglycemia and Lactic Acidosis

Abstract
ALTHOUGH phenformin therapy has been associated with lactic acidosis,1 2 3 4 5 6 hypoxemia or circulatory failure, either of which can cause this syndrome, has usually been present.
