Abstract
The specificity of pig brain protein kinase towards high‐ and low‐Mr ‘analogs’ of protein substrate was studied. Solvolysis of the phosphoenzyme intermediate by various nucleophilic agents is shown. The transition state structure of the phosphoryl transfer reaction is discussed. Keywords
