Abstract
The rate coefficients for quenching N(2P) by N, O, NO, CO, H2, O2, N2O, and CO2 have been measured by following the decay of emission from N(2P) excited in a Tesla discharge by energy transfer from N2(A 3Σ+u). Some of these results differ considerably from those in the literature. Keywords
