Abstract
Simultaneous measurements of and cross sections have been made at beam energies of 17.7, 20.8, and 23 MeV. The experimental angular distributions and charge asymmetries are adequately described in terms of distorted-wave Born approximation calculations. Spectroscopic factors are found to be the same for () and () reactions within an accuracy of 5%. Ratios of cross sections for transitions to the ground states are found to decrease from 4.6 at 17.7 MeV to 2.5 at 23 MeV. Included in the ratios is a calculated factor of 1.8, which is due to a difference between single-particle wave functions of the transferred proton and neutron. A numerical estimate of the isospin impurity of the ground state of is made from these differences.
