Abstract
The personal computer is opening the door to supplemental, essentially tutorial, modes of science instruction that, particularly at introductory levels, can significantly enhance understanding of science and develop abstract reasoning skills. Competently prepared and judiciously utilized materials have the potential to improve the education of science and engineering professionals, elementary and secondary teachers, and, to some degree, the public at large.Keywords
