Abstract
An expedient self-consistency scheme for the determination of parameters of atomic analytic potentials is presented. The method is applied to a simplified one-parameter potential. Values of the parameter for the ground configuration of all atoms are given. Rules to estimate the parameter for excited configurations and ions are also provided. Keywords
