Abstract
A study of clinical and stock cultures indicates the placing in the genus Pseudomonas of many ill-defined and illegitimate spp. No type culture of P. aeruginosa has thus far been designated. It is therefore as yet impossible to describe it accurately. An amended description of the type species, however, is given which purportedly is more accurate than that given in Bergey''s Manual. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
