Abstract
The parenteral adm. of testosterone to a normal [male] and of testosterone propionate to a normal [male] and to 3 patients with gastric cancer, induced significant N retention. Despite this retention, the total amts. of circulating protein of all 5 subjects at first decreased. During this period it is possible either that tissue protein is formed from circulating protein or that the adm. of the hormones inhibits serum-protein fabrication. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
