Abstract
Canine livers were preserved by simple hypothermic storage using modified Sacks'' solution and prostacyclin. Orthotopic liver transplantation was then carried out. Five of 6 and 3 of 5 livers preserved for 24 and 48 h, respectively, were able to sustain life for more than 5 days. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
