Abstract
The polarization of particles elastically scattered from has been measured over an angular range at 18 MeV and at 20 MeV. Double-scattering techniques were used to determine the polarizations. A spin-orbit well depth of greater than 3 MeV is required in order to obtain reasonable agreement between optical-model predictions and the polarization data.
