Abstract
The authors report a new parametrisation of fluctuations of gamma -ray initiated air showers based on Monte Carlo simulations. Such information, which has not been previously available, is necessary to calculate properly the effective areas of air shower arrays used as gamma -ray telescopes. Keywords
