Comment on "Determination of gamma-ray energies and abundances ofTh229"

It is shown that the absolute normalization of $\gamma$-ray yields ($I_{\gamma }$) for transitions among levels in ${}_{}{}^{225}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ra}$ following $\alpha$ decay of ${}_{}{}^{229}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Th}$ reported by Rattan et al. should be increased by at least 22%. Disagreements of reported values of $I_{\gamma }$ with those in a recent report are discussed but not resolved.
