Abstract
An extract of brewer''s yeast made by boiling 4 hrs. in dilute acetic acid (pH 2.5) retained its power to cure the skin affection in rats due to deprivation of vitamin B2 in doses equivalent to 0.5 gm. dry yeast. An extract treated with alkali (pH 10.3-9.6) showed no curative effects. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
