Abstract
A patient with acute promyelocytic leukemia accompanying hypofibrinogenemia is described. Decreased levels of prothrombin factor V factor VII platelets were present. Evidence of fibrinolysis was not detected administration of E amino-caproic acid failed to bring about any improvement. The underlying mechanisms which may have been responsible for the hypofibrinogenemia are considered. Keywords
