Abstract
A 53 year old male with primary amyloidosis had a bleeding diathesis in which abnormal fibrinolysis was demonstrated intermittently. This association was not reported previously. Epsilon amino caprioc acid, an inhibitor of plasminogen activation, was of distinct temporary benefit during several bleeding episodes. A second unique association of elevated total acid phosphatase, with a normal prostatic fraction, was found in this patient. Keywords
