Abstract
The unitarity of the scattering matrix has long been used as a numerical check on impact parameter calculations. The invariance of the system under time-reversal provides a further numerical check, and the explicit condition imposed on the scattering matrix by time-reversal invariance in the linear trajectory approximation is derived. Keywords
