Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 16-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital because of joint pain.He had been well until one month previously, when there was the onset of malaise, anorexia and fever. On the next day pain in the left hip developed. The pain interfered with his gait and was relieved by rest; it subsided spontaneously after several days and was followed by pain and limitation of motion in both shoulders, hips and knees. During the week before entry the temperature rose to 38.9°C. A physician administered penicillin and aspirin for two days, without response, and referred the patient . . .Keywords
