Abstract
Amorphous As and As2Se3 were illuminated by light of a wavelength known to excite photoluminescence efficiently, and the effect of this on the AC conductivity was investigated. It was found that the photo-induced change in AC conductivity is small, of the order of 1%. Attempts are made to reconcile this result with existing models for AC conductivity in amorphous semiconductors and, in particular, chalcogenide glasses. Keywords
