Abstract
The differential cross section to order for the process is calculated in the soft-photon limit, for the case of colliding electron beams with transverse polarization. The effect due to neutral weak currents in unified gauge theories is also calculated and found to be less than 1% in the Weinberg-Salam model, unless the beam energy is larger than 10 GeV.
