Abstract
From the results obtained by the double probe method with a high frequency multistep pulse voltage, some aspects of the ionization of detonation waves in propane-oxygen mixtures and the influences of shock waves there on were explained. The experimental results further show that it is possible to obtain a relatively stable high speed plasma flow having about 1012/cm3 ion density through a Laval nozzle from reflected detonation waves. They suggest also that the plasma of detonation should be isothermal. Keywords
