Abstract
A toxo-plasma slide test is presented that makes use of an insoluble antigen consisting of a fine suspension of microparticles in formolised gelatinized saline. The antigen is prepared by sonification of parasites obtained by centrifugation of the peritoneal exudate of mice infected 5 days previously. The results obtained with this test are compared with those obtained with the passive hemagglutination reaction and the dye-test. A good correlation with the dye-test is found.
