Abstract
Gold alloys were given five different conditioning treatments prior to porcelain firing. The alloys were examined with a scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray analyzer. Only two of the alloys had tin and indium present; these were concentrated in particles partially fused to the alloy's surface. Keywords
