Abstract
Long-distance terabit wavelength division multiplexing transmission using two wavelength bands simultaneously is reported. 20 channels in the 1550 nm band and 30 channels in the 1580 nm band, all carrying 20 Gbit/s, are transmitted over 600 km of singlemode fibre. Keywords
