Abstract
The effect of dl-sotalol (intrarenal perfusion of 19 mg/kg for 30 min) on urinary concentration was studied under pentobarbital anesthesia in dehydrated dogs. Sotalol infusion decreased urinary osmolality and increased natriuresis and urine flow. This diuretic action was accompanied by the reduction of the renin hypersecretion elicited by water deprivation. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
