Abstract
Deformed configuration mixing shell model calculations based on Hartree-Fock theory within the full shell space have been carried out for using modified Kuo-Brown effective interaction. The calculation gives rise to an excited band in addition to the ground state band. The spectrum of the latter is in excellent agreement with the experimental one. The calculated , values, mixing ratios, branching ratios, and lifetimes compare reasonably well with the available observed values.
