Abstract
The dynamics of autoionizing Rydberg electron wavepackets in molecular hydrogen are calculated using a multichannel quantum-defect theory (MQDT) approach. The results of the calculation illustrate how the rotation and vibration of the molecular ion core influence the radial dynamics of the Rydberg wavepacket. Keywords
