Abstract
The enabling properties of a robust fiber-grating-based lightwave code-division multiple access (lightwave CDMA) telecommunication system are presented. The design of the encoding and decoding devices is described and their performance in a sparse two-channel transmission link is demonstrated. Encoded and decoded waveforms as well as two-channel cross-correlation contrast for the system are measured. Keywords
