Abstract
The relative cross sections for neutron-proton scattering in the neutron energy range of 18 to 21 Mev were measured by means of a proportional counter telescope at the laboratory proton recoil angles of 15 degrees and 44 degrees 24 minutes, respectively. From these data a ratio of 1.06±0.16 for neutrons scattered in the center-of-mass system in the backward direction to those scattered in the sideways direction was computed. Keywords
