Abstract
The legibility of symbols produced under two CRT scan modes, random and raster, was compared using a special “hybrid” CRT that writes symbols in either mode. For every subject tested, random-scan symbols were more readily identified at smaller sizes than their raster-scan counterparts. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
