Abstract
Transmission over 109 km of dispersion shifted fibre is successfully accomplished without penalty and errors at 20 Gbit/s rate using a 10 well 1.5 µm high-speed MQW DFB laser biased at 24 mA DC with a low modulation voltage swing of 1.5 V peak to peak.Keywords
