Abstract
Values of sigma R and sigma T are obtained from an optical-model analysis of 12C-12C elastic scattering data between 6 and 85 MeV/A. They confirm the general trends predicted by DeVries and collaborators (1980, 1981) but show discrepancies in the region of the maxima. The OM analysis indicates a significant decrease of the real potential strength with energy. Keywords
