Myocardial Function in Severe Hypothermia

Abstract
The functional status of the myocardium in hypothermia was investigated by means of pulse contours. No evidence for myocardial failure was uncovered on the basis of established criteria. Artificial cardiac acceleration proved to be a dangerous procedure in the hypothermic heart.Keywords
