Abstract
Four patients with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) were treated with (d)-penicillamine (1.2–1.8 g/d) for 18–60 months. All patients improved. Vital capillary microscopy demonstrated that the number of visible skin capillaries increased during therapy, thus indicating a more efficient nutritional circulation. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
