Abstract
Tubercle bacilli are resistant but several saprophytic mycobacteria and non-acid-fast bacteria are susceptible to Zephiran. Zephiran may be used to eliminate contaminating nonacid-fast microorganisms and saprophytic mycobacteria from specimens to be examined for tubercle bacilli. Keywords
