Abstract
Resonant/non-resonant amplitude modulation of gamma radiation occurs when it passes through a medium whose resonant/non-resonant dispersive properties are varied periodically with time. These phenomena are described from a unified point of view. Results are understood in the framework of the classical electromagnetic theory. Keywords
