Abstract
Incubation of crystalline muscle aldolase with P32-labeled fructose-1,6-diphosphate under ap-propriate conditions demonstrates that an exchange reaction between C4,5,6 of fructose-1,6-diphosphate and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate occurs. These results are offered as a possible explanation for the asym-metric labeling of glucose in biological systems. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
