Abstract
The oils extracted from the seeds of four commercially important species of lupin seeds are all shown to contain significant quantities of both β‐carotene and zeaxanthin. One species contains a further pigment which is probably β‐carotene‐5:6:51:61‐diepoxide, and another contains a closely related but so far unidentified carotenoid. Keywords
