Abstract
Crispin Allard reassesses the Plant Report's argument that the single transferable vote (STV) is not an appropriate electoral system, partly because of its alleged lack of ‘monotonicity’. Using recent polling data he concludes that there is uery little likelihood of a non‐monotonic result under STVKeywords
