Abstract
Volatile constituents of Brassica campestris (kabu) and Rorippa indica (inugarashi) have been investigated by a combination of chromatographic and spectroscopic methods. A total of 57 and 52 compounds were positively identified in B. campestris and R. indica, respectively. Other Cruciferae plants, Brassica campestris (hinona), Armorasia rusticana (wasabidaikon) and Raphanus sativus (kaiwaredaikon), were compared with respect to the main sulfurand nitrogen‐containing constituents. Keywords
