Abstract
The mean wavelength dependence on pump power in broadband Er3+-doped superfluorescent fibre sources for fibre gyroscope applications is studied. Data are presented showing that mean wavelength variations with pump power are length dependent, and can be reduced to zero for selected pump powers by optimising the fibre length. Keywords
