Abstract
As shown in an earlier publication (Håkansson 1990) C. kuetzingiana Thwaites and C. meneghiniana Kütz. are conspecific and for this the name C. meneghiniana has to be used. A new name, C. krammeri, is now proposed for the taxon that has long been called C. kuetzingiana and the similarity of this species to C. ocellata Pant, and a new taxon, C. rossi sp. nov. is discussed. Comparison of C. kuetzingiana var. schumannii Grun. with C. iris Héribaud and C. michiganiana Sovereign reveals different patterns in the central area and the new status C. schumannii (Grun.) Håkansson is proposed.
