Abstract
This article demonstrates the use of Parse's theory of human becoming in the care of hospitalized adolescents and their families. The practice dimensions of the theory are described and scenarios from nursing practice serve to illustrate the usefulness of the theory with the adolescent population. Strengths and limitations of the theory are discussed within the context of nursing practice. Keywords
