Abstract
Rats on a normal diet have a fairly constant re-sponse to dextrose administered intraven., but on a vit. B1 deficient diet they showed a progressive decrease in tolerance, apparently independent of food intake. The decrease in oral glucose tolerance in such rats is not due to changes in intestinal absorption since it also occurs after intraven. adm. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
