Abstract
A. neoptenicum occurs unencysted and fully mature in the haemocoel of Acilius semisulcatus, Dytiscus sp., and Agabus sp. in Michigan. That the larva is an ophthalmoxiphidio-cercaria is shown by the retention of a stylet and eyespots. Allocreadium is rediagnosed and all currently included spp. are discussed. A. wallini and A. chuscoi are transferred to Crassicutis [comb. nov. not made.] Plagioporus boleosomi (Allocreadium b. Pearse) (=_P. lepomis Dobro-volny); and P. oncorhynchi (Allocreadium o. Eguchl). Keywords
