Abstract
Supernatant of boiled spleen saline-suspensions of Yersinia pestis experimentally infected animals were used as template for PCR amplification without DNA extraction. PCR sensitivity was enhanced by a second round of amplification (Nested). No amplification was observed from non-infected animals. Keywords
