Abstract
Data are reported exemplifying the behaviour of various uramido-acids in the nitrous acid method for the detn. of amino N, and showing that this behaviour is far from uniform. Under certain specified conditions the amt. of N evolved in 2.5 hr. varies from 0.66 to 2 atoms. The observed differences can, to a considerable extent, be related to structural differences in the various acids examined. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
