The incidence of the L.E. cell phenomenon in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. (A two‐year study)

Abstract
Additional data concerning the presence of the L.E. factor in patients with rheumatoid arthritis is presented. Of 45 patients, 11 (24 per cent) had positive L.E. tests at some time during their period of study. Two such patients developed clinical manifestations compatible with systemic lupus erythematosus.Datos additional in re le presentia del factor lupo‐erythematose (L.E.) in patientes con arthritis rheumatoide es presentate. In 11 ex 45 patientes (i.e. in 24%), le test a L.E. esseva positive a un tempore o un altere durante le periodo de lor studio. Duo tal patientes disveloppava manifestationes clinic compatibile con systemic lupus erythematose.Keywords
