Abstract
The process of calculating the coefficient functions which determine the dependence of structure-function moments depends on how one renormalizes the theory. We clarify the relation between two calculations of the nonsinglet coefficient functions: the one in the mass-shell renormalization by Calvo and the other in the minimal-subtraction scheme by Bardeen et al.
