Abstract
The differential cross sections for Coulomb scattering of electrons without atomic excitation from thin aluminum targets were measured for incident energies of 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 MeV. The electron spectra were obtained with lithium-ion-drifted silicon detectors at scattering angles from 30 to 150 deg. The experimental cross sections above 0.1 MeV agree within the experimental error with the Mott cross section. Keywords
